My reading 2

  1. How nice to hear you reading Mackenzie. As you get older, you read in your head a lot more than out loud. Isn't it difficult to get it absolutely correct when reading for others to hear you. I can tell from your expression that you fully understand the text and can identify the more subtle clues. Well done, keep up the hard work:) Mum

  2. Gosh, mum has said it all!
I was interesting to hear how you were making sense of reading the punctuation marks - they really help to tell the story, too.
Yes, I agree with mum about accuracy when reading. have you listened to what you read? As you know, I often make mistakes when I read aloud. It's good to be aware of how this happens, and consider ways we can reduce our errors. What could you say about this for your reading?
You have some clever thinking about what could be happening in the story as you read. It's such a pleasure to discover your predictions are correct, isn't it?
